How to Grow Chia

The first thing many  peo ple think of when someone mentions chia are the chia pets where peo ple grow chia on water holding structures in the sha pes of animals and various objects. However, chia is also widely known as a su perfood. ( Motis, 2011 ) Both the s prouts and seeds of edible chia can be eaten and are rich in nutrients. ( Carwood, 2023 ) The seeds contain protein, fiber, and carbohydrates, and can hel p with weight loss. ( Londre, 2022 ) The seeds can be added to pudding, rice dishes, granola, yogurt parfaits, and smoothies. ( Londre, 2022 ) So, if you have the desire to grow chia, wish to consume co pious amounts of the nutritious health food, or see a need for chia ’ s benefits in your community, then this blog post is for you!
